The Impact and Population Health platform measures the real-world health impact of cancer interventions in Singapore, generating evidence to inform national cancer policy and value-based care delivery.
STCC brings together expertise from across Singapore's healthcare ecosystem — including programmes under the Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation, Singapore (CRIS), academic partners such as the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, and Ministry of Health agencies — working towards a shared goal: improving cancer care quality while reducing its burden on patients and the healthcare system.
A core focus is the national coordination of evaluation studies for STCC Signature Programmes, including precision oncology initiatives and population-level cancer screening, ensuring these programmes are grounded in rigorous impact evidence.

The study found that treatment costs have risen faster than survival gains for several cancer types, underscoring the need for value-based cancer policies. Supported by the STCC Impact & Population Health platform, this abstract presented at the 2026 ASCO Breakthrough Meeting, evaluating national incidence trends in cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers over a 22-year period. The study identified a significant rise in uterine cancer incidence, particularly among younger women, alongside declining cervical cancer rates, demonstrating evolving cancer risks and informing future strategies for women's health and cancer control in Singapore.
